Dave maness brought up to me after talking about starting up a zine that i should also start a message board for mile high hardcore. Since boards can be utilized for positive results i do think some good can come from this. We can talk about upcoming shows, upcoming bands, local bands, older bands all sorts of things. It would also be good for finding people to start local bands with and finding people to go with for shows out of state. This could also be used for collective brainstorming on how to make things better here in Denver. Right now we have two awesome diy venues that need all the support we could get and that is seventh circle and the office space.there are a lot of us here in denver and some of us dont even know each other so this can be a great way to make friends.so post away!

Alot of people will probably have some negative things to say about starting up another message board, or the fact that i'd even suggest it. ...since we know how much of a haven for douchebaggery they can be **cough theb9 cough**. I know I'm one to talk because for years that's all I did was troll forums.....
I'd like to think that the vast majority of us aren't teenagers anymore including myself.... the lot of us are people in our 20's and 30's. like it or not, places like this are how scenes stay connected and how people communicate. the unique thing about Hardcore is that it attracts a melting pot of people with different ideas/beliefs, etc. But for a couple of hours, we put them aside for the most part so we can be social and enjoy ourselves at a show.... and Id like this forum to represent the positive aspects of that. not to mention that there's a large number of kids who enjoy hardcore, but are naive to the fact that denver has a local scene, or has some misconceptions about our scene. Hopefully this place can be a good reference point for kids who want to learn more.

People just need to set their egos aside for the bigger picture.I myself love to troll people and i want be doing it on here.this should be something to benifit all of us.there will be younger kids lurker these forums and us who been around for a minute should set a good example.there is no reason why we shouldnt all get a long.If you dont like someone and dont feel you can respect them in a normal conversation then dont talk to them.It is simple as that
